Cuppa & Creativity

So, there I was, minding my own business, tea in hand, trying to come up with an idea for a new woodwork project and… nothing. Not a thing. No thoughts, no inspiration, just a big ol’ blank. 😅 Gutting, right?

Anyway, I decided to have a scroll through some of my older project photos to see if I could spark a bit of inspiration, and it got me thinking…

Between all the actual joinery work, the fun wee projects, the handmade gifts and the many, many hobbies I seem to have collected, I’ve actually made a fair bit of stuff! Some of it is absolute nonsense, but we won't talk about those embarrassing moments, yet anyway.

So, I’ve decided to actually listen to the pep talk I had with a fantastic human I met at Makers and actually post something… online… for my very tiny little corner of the internet to see ... feels a wee bit terrifying.

To paraphrase Donkey from Shrek: “I feel all exposed and nasty.” 😂

Anyway, i'm going to try and make a point of posting more online and maybe make a wee series. Try being the key word.

This little series won't just be about my own work. No no! I've been very lucky to find myself surrounded by some incredibly talented local artists, and I've slowly filled my home with their creations, too. ❤️ There's so much lovely work out there that deserves to be shared, and I'd love to show some appreciation for the humans behind them along the way.

Lets call it "Cuppa and Creativity"

Hannah with a cup of tea
